the food was great; only drawback was the scrambled eggs on the buffet-not done enough for me. Would like to see the blue Iguana cafe open longer hours.

Rodolpho was our cabin steward and was always accomodating and helpful. And knew everyone's names-I need to find out his secret since I am terrible with remembering names! Also, one of the parties traveling with us fell and had to have a couple of stitches and the staff in the medical center were awesome!

the serenity deck could be bigger and have more shaded areas available; the covered area could use a fan to circulate some air-it got very warm and stuffy sitting there reading

Ship tip

Not sure why the comment box on the cabin did not display, but the electrical outlets could use some upgrading. The one in the bathroom was not working and since alot of chargers are bigger now, you can only use one outlet plug because the charger takes up the entire space. would also recommend a few more channels on tv, a little more variety, maybe HGTV or travel channel or some music channels. Also, for the photographs, recommend they do something like Disney does and offer an option to download the pictures-you can only buy so many pictures and it was a shame to see so many pictures(and paper) go to waste.

Disembarkation

A little chaotic if you check your bags-seems very disorganized. we had two people with us that were elderly, although not in a wheelchair, and the shuttle did not drop off where the handicapped parking was. Those of us that opted to walk from the ship to the parking area got there at least 30 minutes before the shuttle dropped them off and then we had to go where they had been dropped off to pick up some of their luggage as they were waiting for another ride to bring them to the handicapped parking area.

All in all for our first cruise ever the Ecstasy was in great shape and we had a blast. I know it’s a small ship but it was really in good shape. Staff was wonderful and out head waiter Hamed was fantastic!!! Can’t wait to try the Horizon in July of 2020
