I'm with you on those motion sickness patches. Without them I would NEVER have taken a second cruise! Seven glorious days doing the technicolor yodel all around the Caribbean sucked! 😲

There is a big learning curve on the first cruise and the does and don'ts can get ya and sad part was the water. They stopped bottled water and bottled soda due to people smuggling alcohol in those bottles. Sea sickness is no fun and after my first cruise, I wear the patch on every cruise. Great that you had a good cruise.

First of all, they made you dump out your "good water for no reason"? Uh... could it maybe have been because it's written all over the Carnival web site, as well as on the contract YOU AGREED TO, that bottled drinks of ANY KIND (like soda or WATER) are NOT ALLOWED!! Only one 12 pack per passenger of CANNED soda or water may be carried on!! As for your complaint about the lack of warning about "rocking" prior to boarding, are you serious? Ever been to the beach or seen a television program that showed the ocean?? There are these things called WAVES that are common, especially during hurricane season! Honest to G-D, why do you think so many people in this group discuss SEA SICKNESS prevention? And what did you think causes sea sickness? The color of the ocean?? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise, but before you book another one you might want to do some research and educate yourself on cruising. You also might want to actually READ the contract BEFORE you sign it and hand over your money, that way you will know what is and isn't allowed

You never knew ships can move and "rock" about on the ocean waves? Never been in a pool or a bathtub and watch the little rubber duckies???
