I would like to sum it all up by telling you I had a wonderful 5 days and the time seemed very short. We were back in Charleston before we knew it and it seems like we just got on the ship. Thank you very much for a great experience.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
From the time we walked into customs appeared to be organized. Many lines had a confusing look but actually very well organized. I was very impressed with the ease and organization in a timely manner. We purposely arrived several hours early to overt the large crowds.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate breakfast and dinner in the main dining rooms, lunch and snacks in the buffet.
(I don't remember our table number for dinner but our booking # was 6NZ5T9 and our stateroom was M74 our sailing date was October 9, 2017.) The gentlemen that waited on us for dinner was Rayon and Jonathan. I would like to give these guys an 11 out of 10 (10 being the best of the best) They had such a knack for making me feel like a queen each time I sat down. They used our 1st name and remembered us each time. I was very impressed with this personal touch because out of all the people they served and they remembered us.
Now I gotta tell you about the situation I was startled about (in a negative way): when I was in the buffet I reached for a yogurt, opened it then looked at the expiration date which had expired 10 days prior. (enough for that)
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I don't think smoking belongs inside especially in an area where the children are present. The Fun Squad would have the trivia games outside the bar/lounge area. May I suggest the trivia fun games could be moved to another location. The smokers have a smoking area outside on the upper deck.
P.S. I am an ex-smoker of 50+ years
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We took advantage of as many activities as we could. The stage performances were terrific, Gary was superb, and the fun squad was fun! I wish I could offer some suggested improvement areas but I can not.
Children's Programs
we were not responsible for any children in our group
Service and Staff

I would like to make sure I bring to your attention our room steward. Crisanton (I don't know if I spelled his name correct but we call him 'Chris') demonstrated himself to be very professional but personal and just the right touch to make me feel like a queen plus. He was/is the cutest with the folded towels in the shape of animals. The way he folded them different and placed them in different ways. He was so creative that he had the monkey hanging down from the ceiling.
Oh, another thing I want to say: the secondary door lock was not working properly on our stateroom door. I brought it to Chris' attention and he reported it immediately and it was fixed before night fall. Now that is team work! All your team members seem to work very well with each other almost seemed like one big happy family.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Taking into consideration this ship is dated 1991 I would give this rating high because the staff was continued and non-stop polishing or dusting or vacuuming.
Cabin / Stateroom

We got what we paid for and Chris kept it spotless for us. I used the in-room safe but I would feel just as secure and safe.
Chris make us feel safe, secure and I trusted him completely without question! A perfect gentleman!
Ship tip
