Review summary

We had a great time exploring the ship, meeting people from all over the US, and relaxing! The food was fabulous in every area of the ship and the lunch served on Half Moon Cay was delicious. Everything ran smoothly, on time. The shows were good -- not Broadway, but very entertaining. The tour we took on Nassau was fun and was as advertised.

We really loved all the staff on the ship -- everyone was so helpful and made us feel very special. Thank you, Carnival, for a wonderful 35th anniversary trip!

Obviously an older, smaller ship but it was very clean. Only one problem: the room service trays/food that was set out in the hallway was not picked up for as long as overnight. That's sorta gross. Sometimes the same was true with the outside dining areas -- not cleaned in a timely manner. But then, there were a lot of people on the ship to clean up after!

Very clean, well organized, plenty of room for clothes and storage.

Ship tip

We loved having the ocean view room! The window was big and gave us a great feeling of openness -- made the room feel bigger. We had no trouble with motion sickness. We actually liked staying at the very end of the hall at the back of the ship. It was very quiet; low hum of engines fine.

Don't follow your GPS after you get past the first road over the bridge. Follow the signs that say "Cruise" and you will made the right turn.

We enjoyed taking the tour of the island that lasted 4 hours. After that we had time to browse thru the Straw Market and have a drink at a local outdoor bar.

We had great weather. The beach was big enough to take a long walk. It was also nice that most of the children's play things were at one end of the beach, thus the other end was quieter.
