Review summary
It was horrible from the time i drove up to the ship.
1. Was suppose to have check in priority NOT
2. Yelled at by the parking people to get my bags out of car to keep traffic moving when another was trying to explain to me that not enough people showed to help show people where to park I was just being dropped off.
3.Had to carry my bags to drop off point.
4. people yelling at me to go into the line when I was trying to ask where priority check in was located and then they told me to go down the line and then someone else told me I was in wrong line.
5. I was told top check in with Purser to make sure that I could get 2 seat table they told me to check with Maitred'. When to my cabin and the floor was soaking wet, was told they pick certain cabins to clean carpet after every trip. was still wet late that night and when it dried there was a LARGE stain.
6. Checked in with Maitre'd and he seemed mad, never said a word to me but handed a waiter a piece of paper with a table number on it and we followed him around the whole dining room looking for the table (he didn't know where it was).
7. Our waiter shunned us the whole trip we had people at the table next to us never come back the entire trip and so them elsewhere on the ship and they said they didn't like the service very slow.
8. we were told we had to pay $20 each if we wanted steak and lobster. That never happened on any of our cruises before.
9. saw a party of ten get their food and gone before they brought our food. I asked the waiter after they left and asked about our food and he told me I ordered Salmon and they had to go catch it and laughed and walked away. I yelled at him and said I wanted to see the Maitre'd but he was walking by and he sent his assistant to the table and she asked if there was a problem and I told her yes we had been waiting for over an hour for our dinner she had our meal to us in 10 minutes. We just ate up on deck after that in the buffet line.
10. was suppose to have priority boarding for tender to island didn't happen they told us to get in line.
11. They told us there would be towels on the beach so when we walked to the beach couldn't find towels and asked a waiter and he told me I had to go back to the gate entrance an they were there, when I got there couldn't find them and asked a vendor and they showed me where they were and they were located near the back of one of the stands.
12. The cabin Steward shunned us as well we would ask for something and they would never bring it without several calls.
13. I tried to fill out this questionnaire before but it wouldn't let me send it so I called teh lady I booked the cruise with at and she said send it to her and she would forward it on. After a couple of weeks I tried to call her and she won't answer my calls or emails so I am trying one more time. I love Carnival cruise lines but this was the worse ever.

Wait until they get a new crew and or new ship here in Charleston. I live here and love to take a short break and love cruising but I won't go on another until I am assured the crew is trained properly in customer service and the dining room is up to par. I don't like having to pay extra for steak
