Review summary

I have been on a number of cruises and chose Carnival for the kids.  The reason I did this is they had a cool water slide and mini golf that I thought they would get a kick out of.  I was right!  I have been on the other cruise lines and as it relates to service and food quality all were comparable, even though Carnival was less $.  I am glad I made this choice

Service was great. Very clean. An update to the bathrooms would make it even better

Water was too rough to go. This happened to me on a Norwegian cruise too. Sorry to miss it

All the comments were upsetting me, too. We will be going on our 4th Carnival cruise next month and have always had a wonderful experience! The kids especially. My daughter still keeps in touch with a friend she met from Panama 2 yrs ago :-) Looking forward to making some more great family memories!

My 10 & 13 year old girls are Platinum. Thanks to off-peak cruising & the FUN Carnival provides to kids/families. The only "extras" are the arcade, doing the Build A Bear type activities or staying after 10 PM for Night Owls, really. Mini golf, ping pong, basketball, waterslides, shuffleboard, corn hole, Camp Carnival & more, provide endless entertainment (ship specific of course).

So glad to see this review. So sick of the Carnival bashers out there. I'm going on my first cruise with my family in Jan on the Ecstasy and honestly, we chose Carnival cause of the price and the variety of itineraries. Can't wait!!

I am a die hard carnaval fan because of my kiddos! There is always something to do! Less money, maybe not the best food but definitely a great time for the WHOLE family!

Sounds like this ship was a good fit for your family.  Sorry to read that rough seas prevented your family from visiting Half Moon Cay.  Thanks for posting.
