5 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 01, 2011
Ship: Carnival Ecstasy
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)

Rooms and service were good and food was good. The overall ship experience was not good. The entertainment provided was mainly provided by the guests. I expected real professional entertainment in the shows. I was real disappointed. The miniature golf thing was a joke. The placement on the top deck with the wind? Really.

This part was a joke. Russel in the piano bar was the most entertaining and was hidden.

High cost for a bus ride to the beach.

Pros: Russel and the piano bar. He should have been a major entertainer.

Cons: The lack of entertainment shows provided by the cruise. Most things involved the guests, not paid entertainment.

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? No.
