Review summary

I would definetley book again with Carnival and with this ship I just would have such high expectations as to this being a luxurious cruise. It was more geared to family activities and kid food.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was nothing to write home about in fact it was bland and skimpy. It was like a floating Golden Corral. Nothing real exceptional.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved all the entertainment!!! The Katie Austin Band rocked! Brian Smith (The Wedding Singer) was fun and a great musician! We stayed up passed our bedtime to watch the the comedians because they were hysterical! There was always something to do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Helpful and willing to please. tHe staff was always there to make your wishes come true.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was dated and very 70's looking but it was fun and bright and cheery. Extremely clean and once you got the layout down it was easy to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We booked an interior room and it was just fine. Ample amount of space for 2 and quite comfy.

Ports of call

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

I wouldn't go there again. I would rather had 2 days in Cozumel. All we did was get off the ship to buy cheaper beer at the local bar on the dock.

Cozumel, Mexico

OMG the water is beautiful! We took the Aqua Twister 2 to Passion Island where they filmed the Corona commercials. The boat ride was thrilling! The Island was very clean and relaxing with lots of extras! The Mexican food was fantastic!!!! Only bad thing was they served draft beer and not Corona. Weird
Don't Miss: The Twister and Passion Island!!!!! Ask for the Aqua Twister 2 and Captain Leo

Pros: The entertainment, especially the Katie Austin Band and Brian Smith for music and both comedians rocked!

Cons: The Food was like being on a floating Golden Corral.
