Review summary
This was our first cruise on Carnival and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our cabin steward and dining room wait staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Our cabin was good size compared to other ships we have been on and the larger size shower was appreciated. The new mattress/bedding were very comfortable. We attended all the the shows and they were all good and there was quite a bit of variety. The food in the dining room was good but we thought the food in the buffet should have more variety of selections. The layout of the ship was confusing in certain areas and therefore made it difficult to navigate. This was primarily due, I believe, to the two separate dining rooms with the kitchen in the middle. As a result, on certain levels of the ship, you can't get from one end of the ship to the other without going up/down stairs/or elevators. Overall, we found this cruise to be a great value!Ports of call
Pros: Ship was extremely clean; great shows; attentive crew; very comfortable bed.
Cons: Ship somewhat confusing to navigate; need more variety in buffet.
