Review summary

This was the largest ship we had sailed on so far and it was very impressive. When boarding the grand atrium is astounding and well maintained.

Ports of call

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

This excersion was the worst I have evr been on any where. Progresso is dirty, nasty, areas of shantys, people cooking in barrels and cans. The beach resort we went to was ok, no sea life in the dirty ocean water and the area around the hotel was roting enpty buildings. This is as good as it could get, travel time to anything was extensive through poor areas. We where given so little time at the excursions that travel took up 1/2 or more of the time, very little time to partake of anything on shore. If this is on the shore excursion list the next time we go on a cruise I would have to look for another cruise.

Cozumel, Mexico

We took the tour and shopping excursion, don't waste your time you have very little of it. We toured the southern end of Cozumel again beach shantys, poorly constructed and maintained buildings (three walls only) prices more expensive than fine jewelry stores in the U.S. The city we ported at was nice but still very expensive, and no time to negotiate prices as the time was extremly limited by the ship. Having been to Cozumel before I did and still do find it difficult to belive we where actually in Cozumel.

Don't Miss: Again don't miss all the fun aboard the fun ship Ecastasy.

Pros: This is the largest ship we ahve sailed on to date, for it's size overall very impressive, convienient, and well maintained.

Cons: Smoking areas extrmly limited, almost non existant and very inconvienient out side the ship.
