Review summary

Another enjoyable and relaxing cruise with the wonderful crews of Carnival Cruise Line which was only slightly marred by the Back Pain and limited mobility that I was experiencing resulting from an injury that I had sustained a few days before boarding the ship. Nevertheless, my family and I had a great time aboard the Carnival Dream.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and stress free

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Delicious food and, best of all, the staff was handing out the food. A touch I especially appreciate after previous cruises where the passengers manhandled the food (often without tongs or hand sanitizingšŸ¤®).

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the Serenity Hot Tub and our 8 year old Grandson loved Camp Ocean and the swimming pool.

Entertainment

Didn't participate this time due a recent Back Injury which occurred a few days before the cruise.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our Grandson loved Camp Ocean and made some friends there during the cruise

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outstanding, particularly our Stateroom Steward in Stateroom 1214 (ā€Marcoā€) who was very professional but also very friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. He always provided service with a warm and genuine smile.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Appreciated the hard working crew which we observed continuously cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces of the ship. I also appreciated their instructing passengers to wash and/or sanitize their hands. Thank youšŸ¤ !

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfortable and roomy enough for us (2 adults and 1 child).

Ship tip

Be open minded

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

No interest, we just wanted to get on board the ship as soon as possible

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
For us it was quicker than usual thanks to ā€Amiā€, who upon noticing that I was having trouble walking with a cane due to severe back pain, ushered my wife and I (along with our 8 year old Grandson) to a much shorter line which got us out of the port in an expedited manner.
