Review summary

Everything was GREAT! Except for the rooms 7232 and 7236 due to LOUD NOISE FROM ONCORE THEATRE during concerts I would give the ship 5 stars but have to give a 4 for that reason. I would definitely cruise again with Carnival Dream in a different room.

I enjoyed all activities. I mostly just enjoyed time with family. I did attend karaoke which was really fun and entertaining.

Room was very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised when I first entered the room. I had to get use to the movement of the ship when I laid down. That went away after a day or two. HOWEVER!!! I HAD TO COMPLAIN THREE TIMES DUE TO THE NOISE COMING FROM THE ONCORE THEATRE. THEY WOULD HOLD CONCERTS UNTIL AROUND 10:30P.M. I WOULD COME TO MY ROOM TO REST AND LITERALLY THE FLOORS WOULD VIBRATE. I CALLED DOWN TO GUEST SERVICES ON THE LAST NIGHT DUE TO THE LOUD MUSIC AND WAS BASICALLY TOLD TO DEAL WITH IT THE SHOW WOULD BE OVER IN LESS THAN 15 MINS. IF POSSIBLE DONT BOOK THIS ROOM. I HAD ROOM 7232 AND 7236. IF I WANTED TO ATTEND THE CONCERT I WOULD HAVE WENT DOWNSTAIRS. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FEEL LIKE I'M IN THE CONCERT IN MY ROOM. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT.

Ship tip

Don't book room 7232 or 7236 unless you want to hear LOUD CONCERTS COMING FROM ONCORE THEATRE. IF I WANTED TO ATTEND THE CONCERTS I WOULD HAVE WENT. I SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO HEAR THE ENTIRE CONCERT IN MY ROOM. WHICH DIDN'T END UNTIL ABOUT 10:30P.M. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY ROOM ASSIGNMENT.

The port was AMAZING. We went to a private beach where I paddled board, the kids went snorkeling and jet 🎿. The water was clear and blue. Customer service was AMAZING ALSO!!! BEST PART OF THE TRIP!!!

Now you have the knowledge about where NOT to book your cabin. So does anyone who reads this review. We always book with cabins above and below and at least 2 doors from the elevator lobby. That won’t guarantee that it will be quiet (some neighbors can be noisy). Glad you enjoyed your cruise!🛳

I always check the deck plan of each ship... I have learned to stay from those load areas. Comes with experience. Keep cruising on!!!

You shouldn't blame the ship or complain to the crew if you booked the wrong room. All ships have loud rooms, It could be engine noise, anchor chains, lido deck, bars/clubs and especially the theater.

I'm guessing you didn't choose your room. It's worth paying a little extra to be assured you get the room you want.
