Review summary

This was the worse experience of my life. I planned this for my children it was their birthday my daughters was the day we were supposed to leave we spent her birthday in the car for 6 hours. The told use that we no longer had a destination. We didn't even go but a few hundred miles from the port of Galveston the weather was horrible. I spent 6 months planning this. It was our first real vacation. I worked so hard to make this all happen and it fell apart and 50% refund on the cabin isn't good enough. We don't get the taxes back I spent m ore money on the ship then anticipated because of the lack of things to do that were not super crowded. A destination to nowhere and didn't tell use that were were not even leaving the gulf of mexico. All the money and effort I put into this I cried most of the time because it was all a disaster. I am a single mother I worked a lot of overtime to give my kids a good time for their birthday. Carnival will not budge of the refund and seem to not care at all. I was told to go anyway that there would be a lot to do on the ship and this would have been true had we gone out further. I feel like I was taken advantage of a he lack of information that was given to us to make a choice to go or not. Guest services are rude and had no empathy at all and would not help with the bottomless bubbles I ordered for my kids she said she could add it even though I had already paid for it once she refused to assist further looking for the mistake. I will NEVER do this again!!!!!!!!!

I went to guest services about my drink package for my kids she said I didn't have it. I told her I know I added it because it was on my bank statement she said do you have an email confirmation I told her I did not get one I did it over the phone she was so rude to me and refused to be empathetic that the ship left a day late and had been nothing but stress from beginning to end.

it was kind of small I want aware it was only a stand up shower.

Ship tip

Don't do it. They said were were not going to our destination due to leaving a day late. The said it would still be fun a lot to do on the ship but they didn't even go a quarter of the way to where we were going. The weather was aweful because they didn't leave the gulf only went out a few hundred miles. It was false information
