Review summary

I will be going on the Dream again!! we thought it was the perfect size and this was a great itinerary!! there's a reason that its one of the highest rated ships in the fleet!!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
smooth and fast!! literally running to keep up with how fast they were checking us through!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
didn't spend much time at the buffet :) but loved the MDR!! my daughter is vegan and they took extra care to make her meals special! Bonsai Sushi was a great atmosphere with great food! try the Wagyu beef appetizer - yum!! my son & I tried the seafood shack and it was very good. and can we say GUYS??!! always delivers!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
we mostly relaxed on board, but we did explore and check out the facilities. my kids (26 & 28) checked out the video arcade & liked it so much they went back on the 2nd sea day. As I always say - if you can't find something to do on a cruise - you aren't trying very hard! and the dream was no exception!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
probably my favorite part of any cruise are the shows! we always check out all the musicians early on & found our favorite in Allure Strings!! followed closely by Lunar Sea. but all of the on board musicians are really good. we went to all of the nightly shows and loved them all. I expected to love Flick but America Rocks stole my heart!! I go to a lot of shows at home & have many theater friends - I really enjoyed these performances as much as I do on land.

Children's Programs

no children traveling with our group

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Oka, Villeya & Jovan made our nightly dining exceptional!! my daughter is a vegan & she had her own menu each night of interesting and delicious foods!! and they made her feel special & always made sure that she liked what the chef had made for her. I Made was our room steward & our room was always neat & tidy when we came back - no matter what time we left.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
we had no problem finding our way around the ship. when we did use the elevator, it was readily available. eating on the lido, we never saw empty plates or trash laying around. when you were finishing eating, there always seemed to be someone standing there offering to take your plate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
we had a deluxe oceanview & I would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone traveling as a family. the extra space & BATHROOM are worth the minimal extra cost!!

Ship tip

Tired but don't want to miss the movie by the pool? You can do a pay per view for only $4.99 and watch it in your room! also - if you want to go to the Serenity deck - it's a little complicated to get there but well worth the trip!! and there is an elevator at the very front that will take you up there!

Ports of call

Montego Bay, Jamaica

5 out of 5
we enjoyed our excursion (river rafting) but people are aggressive there. just give them a firm no and keep walking. also - if you choose river rafting - make sure its the rainy season!! otherwise its a lot of hard work!!

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
incredibly beautiful!!! we did the sting rays on the Allura catamaran. if you can get this excursion - BOOK IT!! I can't wait to go back!!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
never stopped walking until we briefly passed the customs officer. couldn't ask for a smoother disembark!
