This was our second time on the Dream. It's a great ship with an easy layout to remember. The crew and staff are outstanding, the activities are great as is just doing nothing. The Steakhouse is fantastic, amazing food at a very, very reasonable price.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Carnival seems to have really streamlined the embarkation process, and it went much smoother than in the past.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
As usual, the food was great. A few things not so much, but that's all based on personal preference. I like that they give you the "Food you always wanted to try" option in the dining room.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
You can do as little or as much as you want, and almost anything you want to do, they offer. Pools and hot tubs were always clean and ready to go.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Great shows, and Lip Sync Battle was excellent.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Room stewards were awesome, always using your first name and asking how your day is going. All the crew smiled and said hello whenever I encountered them. The cruise director Gary was fantastic.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Always clean and maintained. They were polishing the chrome on the lights, they clean all the time.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
All inside cabins I've stayed in are always comfortable and always cleaned thoroughly. This time tho, the pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but that was just my preference.
When we don't do an excursion, we just go in and walk around the shops. The area was clean and everyone was friendly. There is a spot to get your passport stamped that not alot of other places seem to have. At least not that I can find.
We sailed the Dream in 2017, our first cruise, and loved it. Visited the same ports you did. Had an awesome beach day at Mahogany Bay. SIling the Glory on 5/11 and can't wait.
