Review summary

The cruise was wonderful. There is never enough time to do or see everything on board. The service is as always elexcellent. The entertainers need some work. I have seen the shows done before to a much higher level. The group of singers this time where a let down. The art gallery staff were super friendly. Stop and see Serge, Little John and Jaryd if you have chance. Dining room staff of Bagi, Maraget, and Fretch were superb. Always smiling and waiting to see what the next joke would be from our dining company. Pandi did a super job keeping the room clean. Loved the towel animals. Ports were good. Took this cruise because I hadn't been to Jamicia and Grand Cayman before. Jamicia overall is definitely a stop to book an excursion for. The local community is very poor. The port is one large warehouse with nothing in it but bathrooms. Appleton rum estate tour is a educational as well as fun tour. I would recommend cash at this port. Grand Cayman is spread out over several blocks for shopping. Do plan according to your preferences. We didn't go to Cozumel, but to Tulum on the mainland. Boarded the ferry from the ship and were brought back to the ship by ferry. Tulum is a wonderful day trip. However, it does take all day. While the new system of check in prevents you from standing in line if you do everything online, it does make you wait to board the ship if you have an early check in time. My check in time was 11:30, we got on board by 12:30. Not unreasonable but did have to wait for 30 or so minutes in the massive amount of chairs they have in New Orleans. Getting off the ship did not go smoothly. The new cruise director got confused several times about which groups he was calling. Hopefully, since it was his first week alone, this will be polished soon.
