Review summary

I'm very upset that when I booked the trip I wasn't informed of the amenities on the ship, for example if you stay on the spa level you get discounts at the spa😳😳 actually, on the cruise ( that ship) has one of the only two for Carnival has that special spa!! Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic I would have just appreciated the information

and, the service on that ship up around the pool was awful, they are so understaffed

Actually, people listing some things they didn't like isn't discouraging. What is is the barrage of hate from many posters..Gellmore, AmieMarie, MANY MORE, telling others how THEY ARE THE NEGATIVE ONES! I've never seen such and will stay on Royal Carribean vs the maturity of some of these loyal Carnival-ers! No thanks!

We love the Dream and the Cloud9 spa! I've never had a bad experience with them. If anything, they over compensate with information. I don't know how you missed all of their "deals".. My husband and I are going again in September. We will be staying on the spa-deck 11. Can it get any better?...lol...come on September!!!

I'm lost on you not knowing about the spa info....... Did you book with a travel agent or on your own?? Did you read the daily packet?? It's really clear on the carnival website. It's not a hidden secret. I have to say a minuscule amount of research would answer this for you.. 1 star rating isn't justified if you don't utilize the info.

The spa suites are the way to go. Totally worth it. On days at sea a gr8 way to relax,Staff was gracious and always available. Everything was clean and inviting. I am going again Nov or Dec and I can hardly wait,

Maybe next time you should do your homework before going on a vacation so you're not left with a bad taste in your mouth about your experience. It's your own fault you didn't have a good time, but don't let that ruin a second opportunity to enjoy yourself because Carnival is actually amazing! Going on my 2nd Carnival Cruise in 6 months woo!

We looked at spa room, but couldn't tell if it was worth the extra cost. Anyone calculate that? We also have 4 in room and it only applies to two. Teenagers.

Laurahill decks 11 and 12 forward. With 12 being the "spa" deck. But there are cabins on 11 with their own private elevator.

This will be my first cruise with Carnival. I have booked a cloud 9 spa Balcony. When I went to book a cabin. First I went to Balcones as that is what I book. Then I checked out the different TYPE of balconies. Cove, Regular, Aft and Spa. At one point I was looking at an Aft wraparound but the smaller cabin size did not appeal to me. Ended up liking the offerings of the Cloud 9 Spa. Like I said this WILL be my FIRST Carnival cruise. You only have yourself to blame for not researching.

mrsdocdawk, Carnival has 6 ships with the Cloud 9 Spa. No one knows what you are interested in so it's up to you to do a little research and ask the questions.

It is your fault totally for not doing your research before you booked!!How can you possibly blame Carnival????? Sounds to me like you just were looking for something to complain about...You probably asked for some compensation for them not telling you what your choices were !!!!
