Carnival Dream Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Sail Date: August 25, 2012
Ship: Carnival Dream
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 4 years ago
Review SummaryThe ship is very nice and new. The Gathering eating area is too crowded with tables to the point you can't walk by some without bumping guests. Seems there was not enough help to keep the tables cleaned when guest left the table. The shows were good. We had a death in our family at home and guests services was very helpful and kind to us (Michael Lee and Leonie) This is our second year to cruise on this ship. It would be nice to have a swimming pool for adults only. The variety of activities is good. This was our 5th cruise with carnival and we will probably cruise again. The party for returning guests was great.

Pros: Visiting the ports of St Maarten, St Thomas and Grand Turk
Cons: We had to wait in a very warm terminal for 2 hours before boarding the ship. The lines getting back on the ship at port were very long. The swimming pool on the ship is too small for the number of guests to be able to use. The Gathering eating area is too crowded with tables too close.
