Great Cruise Vacation

Sail Date: June 16, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Loved the ship it was clean and has a good design, crew were allways pleasant and attentive, ports and sea days were a great mix for a relaxing vacation.
Serenity area became very crowded on sea days and frequently had under 21's in.
The Casino was not the place to be if smoking affects you, I had to leave and then had a headache for the evening after only being in for a short time - this issue does need addressing, second hand smoking KILLS. Just ban smoking on ships, apart from the health issue it is a major safety hazard!!

Pros: Dream is a great ship, not too big not too small, attention of cabin steward was a pleasure.

Cons: Cruise Director he has zero personality and did not bother to speak to passing guests when you eevn saw him

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Shows were well produced and stylish though I personally would have prefered better thought to the music so it appealed to all passengers on the ship
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Ther only issue I had with what was otherwise great food was the steak, it was pretty poor quality.
Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin Steward was very good, nothing was a trouble
Service and Staff
With the exeption of the Cruise Director who was a waste of space
