Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was very old and very hot.

Pros: waterslide, final show and karaoke by the pool

Cons: food, service, uncontrolled pool areas, uncomfortably hot throughtout the ship, public restrooms throighout the ship were disgusting.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.

Ship Quality
Compared to other companies the entertainment seemed very limited. The shows were very out dated and had many technical difficulties having to restart the shows a.few times.
Food and Dining
The food was bad more often than it was good. The waiter was nice but.the food was not worth it.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was very poorly decorated. Some of the lights were broken and the decor was very old. It was also very hot in the room and after trying to reach the service desk for an hour, we were told it would be fixed and never was. The bathrooms are very outdated.
Service and Staff
Friendly staff but felt very hassled to buy drinks as they followed you until you decided to buy some.
Key West, Florida
Waste of time the ship docks at 730am and the town is still sleeping.
Cozumel, Mexico
Everuthing is very over priced so we decided to walk through cozumel and found an offshore snorkeling place for cheap
