Best Vacation Ever!!

Sail Date: August 08, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was awesome, the people working on the ship were happy to help all the time, friendly and even got to know our names. Our room was always immaculate, the food was always excellent and explanations were clear for disembarking and such.

Pros: The food, the people, the excursions

Cons: Not much :)

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Bigger than I expected, 3 of us stayed in 1 room with no problems.
Service and Staff
By far one of the nicest perks of the ship!!
Entertainment
Grand Turk Island
Beautiful island!
Don't Miss: The catamaran and snorkel, by far, the highlight of our trip!!!!
Nassau, Bahamas
The island is not as clean since it is more populated, and this was the only place that we felt ambushed when we were walking through the shops...
Don't Miss: Blue Lagoon Private Island day, you can see the dolphins from the water, peaceful and beautiful!!
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Beautiful island, very clean.
Don't Miss: We did a kayak trip, it was awesome to see the island from another side.
