Review summary

Was a great cruise for a first, affordable but not the best for drinks. It’s amazing for the value and experience. I would do a second time without a doubt.

Embarkation

Smooth and easier than expected, hard to find the parking entrance

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Drink options limited if you don’t add the drink package, i saved my money for a glass of wine with dinner once, and rest for rum flight when at Nassu. Food in Monet was amazing, there’s options if you like to stay comfortable, and options for those wanting to explore during dinner. Most seafood options were additional charge. Guys burger was amazing (don’t forget the onion ring to be added on) and the soft serve machine is a dangerous, lovely thing to have. :)

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Main pool where theater was got closed due to an “incident”, not really carnivals control but wish they could’ve cleaned sooner. There’s another large pool and about 4 other hot tubs that I was able to go to instead. Fitness center overlooks front point and was nice to see ocean while running. The kids club was above locker rooms so it was a lot of stopping around when trying to relax.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Humor in the comedy show didn’t appeal to me. Was okay, didn’t stay til the end. Not a lot of dance show options, I only remember seeing one time slot which I missed. The piano bar was amazing and cannot be missed!!! We had probably most of the ship crowd there at night.

Children's Programs

Don’t have children

Service and Staff

Nathaniel from carnival conquest was absolutely outstanding. Very charismatic, informative, he knows how to match your flavor profile when you only have an idea of what you want.

Ship Quality

Confusing layout that you start to understand by the first morning. Wonderful design, sound proofing of rooms very good. Cleanliness is acceptable, but it’s not sparkling. The staff is quick for cleaning up and always watching!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The window is great!! Bathroom might be small for some people, but if you are okay with an airport toilet, you will love the bathroom in this room. Plenty of storage space so if you like dressing up bring all the clothes you want. I was surprised at how empty my closet looked.

Ship tip

Relax and explore!! I enjoyed checking out the whole boat, from the art gallery to the large lounge chairs in the top front of deck, and walking through the area with slot machines.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Not fan of the departing part, was a confusing place to find your boat before going. But I think easier to understand after seeing once.

Nassau, Bahamas

Almost too many stores to see. You have to be careful and know what souvenirs you want, a lot of vendors have same things at different prices. Watc
