Always more to do than we have time for. Fantastic
Embarkation

Very fast process. We had a check-in time of 10:00-10:30 and we were walking on the ship at 10:48a.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We’d heard reviews that Conquest had very good food and we have to say, it was some of the best we’ve had. Even the buffet food was good which we normally steer clear of. Unfortunately we missed elegant night with the special dishes but we were so full from the lunch we couldn’t eat more.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There’s always more things to do in the ship than we have time to get too. Karaoke was a blast- always what the guests make it. We only got to one comedian and he didn’t seem to have a skit- just mostly made fun of the audience. We only made it to the 80s show which we thought was good. Again, always more to do than we can get to. This is why we always come back!
Entertainment

Enjoyed the DJ on the pool deck and the one show we made it to was fun!
Service and Staff

Great staff! Blessing, a young photographer, was great! His personality really showed through and we both said he will be a cruise director one day!
We had anytime dining so our wait staff always changed but everyone was attentive.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Many will notice Conquest is an aging ship but we like her, along with Sunrise. We did see some superficial blemishes but nothing that kept us from enjoying the trip.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were in an interior cabin on the 6th floor. It was an “extra” interior room in that it was part of an extra hallway at midship. All of the rooms are actually slightly bigger and there was minimum traffic. We’d definitely book a room in this hallway again!
We’ve been here close to a dozen times. The new port is nice although we didn’t stop at anything. Some people complain that folks are something pushy outside the port but you can actually stay in the port all the way almost to Senor frogs and avoid a lot of the congested foot traffic. The straw market is good for shopping and bargaining.
We did the self deembarkation because we only had one suitcase each and while there was a slight delay on clearance, we were off the ship before 8am and to our car by 8:10a (because we came in at a different terminal than we departed from).
