Please send this beautiful lady to dry dock. It rained inside ever since day - even when the sun was shining!
Embarkation

Arrived at noon for my scheduled time. Conquest was in terminal F which is such a pain in the butt based on its first floor set up. About a 10 minute wait but nothing unpleasant just a lot of people in a small space. Walked on from security very quickly. Muster done in minutes and eating lunch by 12:40.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
MDR was good though a few nights nothing really interesting for me based on my personal taste. Lido was mediocre. Can we stop with over icing the lettuce so it’s not brown and soggy? Ice cubes should not be mixed with my lettuce!! Guys okay and deli was okay but not great. It used to be my go-to. Bbq was not to my liking.
Onboard Activities

They were generally okay but time to change up stuff a bit.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
In general okay. Comedy was good but the rest is just versions of the same thing over and over.
Service and Staff

My room steward was awesome. MDR staff great and coffee shop people were sweet. Didn’t really interact with many others since I didn’t drink alcohol on this cruise.
Ship Quality

It’s time for dry dock to repair lots of leaks. Ship was clean but you can only clean old stuff so much. I love the layout.
Cabin / Stateroom

I loved my forward cabin but hated my neighbors on either side. To the left was the screamer (at her husband) because apparently he’s an idiot - her words. And to the right another screamer but a 2am screamer because he was filming ladies in “DA CLUB” her words, not mine. And he also won $10k apparently the final night and they both screamed all night and called everyone they knew. Good times.
How do I get so lucky?

Crap show. Not sure what the issue is. Could be people just don’t listen to instructions (they definitely do not listen). It shouldn’t be this hard or stressful to leave a ship!
We were on the Conquest in March 2019. Loved it. All was great except the shows. Beautiful ship, delicious food, great cabin Steward and fantastic ports. Had a balloon drop the last night that was so much fun!
Cruising 2004 the update was a hotel update and not a full dry dock. It is way past time it gets some love. Squishy floors, mildew, cracked windows, etc. This is my second trip on her this year with three more to go. My bathroom each time was in poor condition. Clean but just old, tired, worn out. They seem to not have parts to fix things like shower valves and faucets and are Mickey Mousing them at this point. I was rained on at dinner, at lunch, listening to violinist. It made me sad. Didn’t ruin my time but it’s like the ship has taken a big deep sigh. Maybe this winters weather is the cause?
