This was our first cruise and it was definitely a wonderful experience overall. We ran into minor setbacks along the way but maintained a positive attitude and willingness to let the small stuff slide so we could enjoy our vacation. We have already booked our next cruise for a full week!

We loved the 18+ pool and whirlpools. The best time to go was when the majority of guests were dining and it was so quiet & relaxing.

We loved Jaylyn Bishop so much we saw her two nights in a row! The nightly music was far too loud and there needed to be more variety of music instead of ONLY dance/hip-hop music.

For one of the oldest ships, it was still a beautiful ship for a first-time cruise. We enjoyed all the added touches from the murals on the ceiling to the layout of each deck.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was perfectly sized for my spouse and me. We greatly enjoyed watching the sunset from our cabin and the room was kept extremely tidy.
Ship tip
DO NOT take the 'special drink' when you first board without finding out if it is included, if it contains alcohol, and if you pay extra for the souvenir container. We spent $60 on TWO drinks!!
We loved Miami but did not do any excursions. We simply flew in the night before so we were sure to make it to port on time. It was a lovely view in our specific room and the shuttle provided by our hotel helped make it all stress-free.
We LOVED our excursion! We booked the Dolphin Encounter at the Blue Lagoon and it included lunch. The only negative part was realizing that the 'easy' level rating was in fact wrong. We were forced to walk quite a distance and I was not able to participate because I did not have the stamina after all the walking to then get into my bathing suit. I was crushed to find out the only bathroom for changing in that area was up TWO sets of stairs! Very disappointing that they do not properly accommodate those with physical disabilities.
The disembarkation was not bad once we decided to wait until nearly being the final people to leave. The lines were insane prior to that and the fact that we had to leave so early when our flight was not booked until later at night provided the only negative points.
