We love the Conquest. You will probably be disappointed in other Carnival ships, though I don't think you were exposed to all it offers. It is true that most deck activities are geared toward one genre, but each ship offers lots of options for music and not just 80s. Look for ships with a Red Frog Rum Bar (not the one on the lido) they often have great bands playing latin or various genres. You have to explore the full ship and follow the Fun Times, there are lots of music options. There's not much I can say to prepare you for disembarkation. All CLs want to get everyone off as quickly as they can, but it is, for the most part, paced by your fellow cruisers. CLs just try to manage the chaos. You can take your time up until a point, but there isn't much to do. Hope you enjoy your next cruise should you give it a another try.

Not much to do in Half Moon Cay? Well you DO know that it's a beach day? There are things to do there. As for the ship, you have to ask for ice to be delivered every day. I never have an issue with that i ask the first time meeting my Steward and i always get it. Bottled water is not free you have to purchase it. As for the MDR maybe you just didn't like what you ordered and if that's the case you can order something else.

You need to go on one of the newer mega ships!! Conquest is old!! Try a different itinerary the Bahamas eehhh

Sorry your first cruising experience wasn’t the best for you. Try a different ship, different cruise lines, and if possible a longer cruise to see if that might change your mind about cruising.

If you go again, bottled water is not free on any cruise. And cheaper in a bar than left in your cabin.
