it was a great first experience for my wife, she wants to do it again for her birthday next August.

this was my 3rd cruise, this time it was way smoother to board the ship.....

I didn't get a chance to dine in the dinning room due to the clothing attire, which needs to be changed just a lil, not everyone have formal attire, some ppl only have casual attire in their closets, some ppl don't own dress shoes so casual sneakers should be accepted

I didn't get to many of the activities they were hard to locate and the staff was to rude to answer questions

front desk/ customer service staff was rude in handling issues and situations, the drink waiters were not being honest with the prices of the souvineer cups filled with drinks which cause for discrepencies with our bill, i had to dispute several overcharges regarding that

The dining rooms are elegant. The staff is in proper dress so we should be too. Otherwise there's other options on board that doesn't require a spruce up

Carnival has a quite relaxed dress code. Besides Elegant night, most nights are resort casual. As long as you aren’t in a swimsuit or wearing shirts with holes or cutoff shorts you should be fine. Don’t overthink the dress code. As long as you wear what they recommend of their website you won’t encounter any issues. Happy cruising!

Thanks for sharing. Sorry you had trouble in the dining room with attire. If you are cruising in the future, be sure to familiarize yourself with any dress code you may be required to follow. In most cases, on many cruise lines, you will be fine with long pants, even nice jeans, and a collared shirt for men. Women typically have similar rules, i.e. no shorts or tank tops. "I'm on vacation" is not an excuse to violate a dress code.
