Review summary

I went into my first cruise with fairly low expectations. I’ve found in speaking to others that people either love them or hate them. Seldom an in between. Well, my expectations were blown away. I absolutely loved the whole experience.

Room size was as expected. Bed was one of the most comfortable ever. Bathroom was way larger than I expected.

Shops were great. Excursion I selected was a 5 hour beach/pool with meal and unlimited drinks. I thought it was going to be use of a resort. Not that at all. It was a small random piece of land with chairs and a small pool. I immediately turned around and asked to go back to the boat and was happily reimbursed without having to ask.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. I fell in love the first time I cruised as well. I have been on 3. Have 2 booked. 2 of my cruises I have been solo. My 4th cruise will also be solo. My 5th cruise my best friend who has never been on a cruise is going that will be for New Year this year. And we are already planning one for the summer of 2024

So glad you loved the cruise. We've been on 10 cruises and it's the best vacation ever. We've only been on one Carnival ship and it was the Conquest. Loved it. One of our favorites. Would definitely go again.
