Review summary

This was my 3 carnival cruise in the past 6 months. There was good and bad on each trip. But they screwed me over on money, so I am done with them.

The DJ was good and some of the bands and musicians were really good.

Service and Staff

I went to the customer service desk first night there about 1am and told them I wanted the cheers package. They put a sticker on my sail and sign card, but never put it through. Few days after I get back I get a $642 charge on my card.

Ship Quality

It was very poorly designed and it is very hard to navigate through it. One of the main dining room is right in the middle of the ship and you have to go up 2 or 3 flights of stairs to get around it.

Cabin / Stateroom

Inside the cabin was not a issue. The noise was a big issue. You could hear the motors running, and it sounded like someone was dragging furniture across the floor directly above you. Sometimes the noise would be loud enough to startel you.

Ship tip

Watch your money like a hawk. Get a room in the middle of the ship. Book the steak house as soon as possible.

Nassau is nice. I went scuba diving this time,so I didn't see much of anything else.

It’s always best to choose a mid-ship cabin location that has other cabins above below and around it and to book drink packages and other options prior to boarding.

We loved the Conquest when we were on in 2010. Research the ship before booking the cabin and you shouldn’t have that problem of noise. We always book a cabin with the decks above and below us with other cabins and close to an elevator. Perfect every time. As far as the drink package, if it was not set up I would think you would have known after you ordered the first drink. Don’t know what happened there.

Try to analyze your room location by using the ships deck plans. What's above and below as well as right next door. This will help with loud and noisy locations.
