This is my favorite ship. Overall a good time. I enjoyed the art auction and picked up a few new pieces. Enjoyed room service for breakfast and just relaxed on cruise three of four! Cozumel is my favorite port and I decided to just do a bit of shopping and then hung out and people watched. The ship was not as clean as on prior cruises. I hope it was just a hiccup. Can’t wait for my next Conquest cruise!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Quick and easy. Took five minutes and waited about 15 to board. Would be 1000% better if people didn’t crowd around escalators prior to their group being called. Just like standing up when the plane lands!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Overall good. Menu needs an update and I did buffet one evening because nothing on the menu made me excited. I don’t much care for buffet based on people handling serving spoons. Prefer staff handling/serving food. I enjoyed deli and sushi.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Since I was on a side to side & back to back I laid low during this leg. I played a few rounds of trivia but that was it. I did go out early a few mornings to enjoy the empty hot tubs!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I only listening to the violins players this cruise. They were fantastic!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
I met my room attendant once and he seemed pleasant. Asked him for ice and never saw him again! Waiters in MDR were very pleasant and the coffee bar ladies were great as were the bartenders in the casino. I was ignored, as usual, in the lobby and poolside. Their loss since I tip well!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
This is my favorite ship however some areas were just not clean. The pool deck was nasty dirty two of the four days. Also maintenance on the hot and stuffy elevators would help. At times you couldn’t even read some of the floor numbers and many people confirmed the elevators were very hot!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I’m not normally a fan of interior cabins but this was very quiet even though it’s close to the elevator. Also just down the hall was laundry which I needed because I pack light.
