Long line everywhere. Took at least 30min to get a drink. Some bartenders were rude and mean.
Drink package is not covering any of the island. So you bought four days of package, but there are two days wasted. Also, the drink package is not unlimited, it's 15 per day. But that 15 includes any special drinks like coffee, smoothie, etc.

Pools and hot tubs were all packed and not that clean.

First day was fun. Then realized the music was same everyday. It was disappointing and annoying.
Children's Programs

Friend sent her two kids to the club, but she took then back right away. There were some kids sleeping on the ground, while others running around. According to her, it was not reassuring.
Service and Staff

The waiters/waitresses in the restaurants, and the house keeping staffs, are in generally very nice and work really hard.
But I have to mention, that all the gratuity is automatically charged regardless of the service. And not sure if any of that really goes to the employees.
Ship Quality

Old fashioned design. But of course, it's an old ship.
Some confusion designs. Ship map shows on 3rd floor, but the there's no access on the 3rd floor, you have to go to the 5th floor and walk down.
Restaurant tables are set way to close. Less than 5" gap. Our first night was next to two ladies and they were arguing, very awkward atmosphere.
Cabin / Stateroom

One sliding door and some drawers are loose, they were slapping the first night as the ship shake.
I too sailed on Carnival for the first time in August. It was the Carnival Miracle and the ship was Rusty and some spots, especially outside of our balcony. So many of the other passengers were really Sleazy and the whole Cruise was based around booze. Food was only fair. Never again for Carnival for me and that was my 13th Cruise. Unlucky 13 for me for sure LOL!
