Review summary

Overall the cruise was great. A little less activity than some of the other Carnival ships but still an excellent vacation.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and seamless. Now that we don’t need to show VeriFLY nor vaccine cards, everything was easy breezy. We had a 20 minute wait before they started boarding us and within 10 minutes of that we were on the Lido. There was some confusion on where Muster station D was, which cause a slight hiccup, but I still appreciate the minute long muster vs the ones from prior!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The MDR was sufficient, the steakhouse was phenomenal and Bonsai Sushi was as good as ever. 🤤

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
For some reason there were VERY little activities except for the port day. Port day was loaded with quizzes, games, dance parties and the like. I choose to visit Nassau so I missed most of the activities. That was a weird choice 🤔 as the Sea day was a tad boring…

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I’ve been on five cruises this year and the stage shows have been the same. I hope next year will bring different shows 🤞🏾🤞🏾. I’m a DC native and the DJ played a good amount of Go go (music native to DC) so that was a surprising change. I don’t usually hear go go outside of DC/MD/VA. The CD, Stephen, was just ok.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always! The service personnel is always on point. My steward, Dewa, made himself part of the family 😂

Disembarkation

No issues. I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast (although they did shorten the breakfast by one hour; we had to be out of there by 8 am!) I walked down the stairs with my luggage to avoid the elevators. I was off the ship in 10 minutes or less.
