It's an older ship, great service, great crew, but not as many amenities as the Carnival Valour or other ships. It was very clean, and I had a great time for the most part. The buffet needed to be open longer hours, instead of only opening Pizza Pirate and the sandwich place during extended hours, lines were long. I did more drinking than eating on this ship.

I love the cleanliness, but the layout is weird. Deck 5 is how you walk from one end of the ship to the other. The Lido deck is better, but you have to climb stairs for the BBQ place, and there's no way you can take an elevator to that. Since my dinner was on Deck 3, I just walked on Deck 2 from one end to the other. It was easier than going to deck 5, and going down two flights. Also, the area of Serenity with the Jacuzzis should have a bar. That's where people want to be when they're drinking, I don't like going downstairs to grab a beer.

The twin bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved feeling the ship. There's also a couch with a pull out bed if you're not alone like me. The bathroom had hot water of various degrees. I liked the location, close to the elevator, and not noisy at all.
Ship tip
Bring a power outlet so you can connect your phone and Kindle at the same time.
Loved horseback riding on the beach. Alos rented a waterbike, that was $40! The shore excursions offered better bang for the buck. However, I appreciate that the beach had enough lounge chairs for everyone, and the BBQ was delicious. However, I did not like paying for drinks when I had the CHEERS card, that should work on Half Moon Cay.
Instead of having many tender boats, they have a few huge boats that fit lots of people. Also, we were supposed to leave the island at 3:15 and we left at 3:45. I also don't understand why my horseback riding excursion was at 1:30pm and not in the morning? I was ready to leave the beach at noon.
Appreciate your feedback. I understand the open times for many of the food options has been changed recently. Not particularly happy about that, but I suppose we’ll either adjust or try another cruise line.
Thanks for your review, I can relate to most everything you posted. Because of the location of the MDR you went up and down stairs to get around, and Half Moon Cay you are absolutely correct on the drinks, they should be included and maybe a slight surcharge for the island. We too love the ship
