Conquest just back from a short dry dock, was in good shape with some updates to public areas and new livery. The ship is showing it’s age a bit but it’s still my favorite. I enjoyed my trip, this was the second of my back to back to back. Staff was friendly and attentive. It did feel like a lot of new staff members so only annoyance was asking for an item like a pool towel or extra glass of ice with a drink and was met with blank stares or it became a committee meeting/discussion. They got it together by day three. Felt dining room staff was always a beat off. Service was a bit slow (but better than home 😃).
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Was just coming off a FOS cruise and was allowed to check in very early. Super easy as usual. We knew, via email, there would be an hour delay in boarding but chose to sit and chill and not be upset about it like so many people, who maybe should read their email and practice patience? Easy mustering. Happy they are keeping it the way it is and not going back to cattle call.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was a bit bland this time and too often I had things that were cold or room temp. I do wish they’d change up the menu a bit. Same menu cruise after cruise is getting a bit boring.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Plenty to do. Fitness center was too warm for me this time around. Pools always crowded but if you go early morning you can have pool and hot tub time or after 5pm seemed good too.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Pop to the Max was good as was the 80s show in the lobby and the violins. Piano bar guy was as funny as the comedians onboard.

Cabin / Stateroom

I really liked this walkway view cabin. Quiet area. Yes, there was some crew noise but it was better than screaming people in the hallway!
Disembarkation
2 out of 5
I was doing back to back. Disembarkation was a mess. No fault of Carnivals. Port of Miami had issues with customs. However, the passengers yelling and complaining, being rude to the CCL staff, and overall acting like children should be ashamed of themselves (or course they won’t be). I would hate to be on a ship with this group during an emergency. They’d trample their own grandma to be first off board. If people could have used their ears to listen the issue would have remedied itself.
