Bazuy505 Cruise Review on Carnival Conquest on May 05, 2019

First and last time on Carnival Conquest. Unfortunately for us we went on ship day after Ft Lauderdale shooting at airport. Boat was delayed as several people didn’t have luggage after they shut down airport and evacuated without it. I understand this in no way was Carnivals doing but could have been handled differently. We were on same plane as shooter. My family and I had just stepped out airport door as he began shooting people. There were people on ship including ourselves in shock and quite traumatized. One woman needed assistance and had bullet holes through her luggage. It was all so surreal. I witnessed first hand the staff being extremely cold and unsympathetic to any of these unfortunate passengers, They were blatantly rude. The woman with holes in her suitcase was near us in dining room and she trembled the entire cruise. I don’t expect Carnival should have catered to us but being human at least would have helped matters for dozens of passengers. It was a very unfortunate event and I thank God every day we left alive. However Carnival will never be in our future plans again after that experience and no way in hell the Conquest with their robotic crew of rude inhumane individuals.

One time on Conquest was enough for us also. I understand wanting a first timer to really enjoy themselves. Hopefully she will give another ship a try, and enjoy it.

We will never cruise this ship again. One and done for us also. It was the worst service we ever had on a carnival ship and the food was really bad.

We were just on the Conquest and loved it.
