Review summary

I love cruises, but was definitely a little disappointed. Out of all of the ships I have been on, Conquest was my least favorite. I loved the cruise director! There were a lot of limitations on the drink package, yet the prices were raised. This alone makes us consider another cruise line. Splendor was definitely my favorite ship so far, due to the crew and the entertainment. Conquest could do a better job.

I had better food on the other ships. My family and I were actually pretty disappointed. The drink package rules also became more limiting, but more expensive, which is highly disappointing. This alone makes us consider a different cruise line.

I wasn’t aware of any drink limitations. I drank everything I wanted to and it was included. No yard beers or shareables was all i noticed and didn’t care. The specialty coffees, water and rockstars were a great plus!

I agree the food on all our other Carnival cruises was better. The only thing I liked on Conquest Lido was pizza.

The drink package has actually expanded a little so yes the price went up a bit but still well worth it

In addition to alcohol we take advantage of bottled water, to drink on the ship and carry into port, energy drinks, and specialty coffee; plus the Alchemy bar being high priced. That all makes it worthwhile for us. We’ve never hit the 15 alcoholic drink cutoff, but that’s probably a good thing!

We've never did the drink package, for 2 people in a 7 day would be approximately 840.00 additional to the bill. We would not be able to compensate that amount just for drinks. I drink more than my husband but still not enough to even break even especially in port days. Just not worth it everyone in cabin 21 and over has to get it.

Following for drink info, we cruised on carnival in November and the only drink I got turned down was a Cadillac margarita, they considered a double... Weird considering a Long Island is fine, but no biggie.

The Conquest class of ships are our favorite. We love all the tiered deck chair spacing. Having said that, the Conquest does need a good makeover...at least from when we were last on it. I've found the food always to be consistent throughout the ships. Good, no complaints. I can't comment on the drink package as we've never done it.

We loved Conquest, in fact we love that class of ships, Glory is our favorite but had good times on Freedom and Conquest.
