Review summary

I just don't feel the entire experience was of the same quality as previous cruises. The food was the biggest disappointment. How is it possible to not have the steam tables set to keep food hot. This cruise was just not the quality as I have come to expect from a Carnival cruise.

Service in the main dining room was very good and the food was good. We were always having to ask for butter. Why wasn't each individual given butter to make things more sanitary. I only when to dinner in the dining room. The pizza the first night was cold and old. Later in the week the pizza was very good. By far the best food on the ship was the cheeseburgers at the hamburger joint. Always hot and fresh. The food on the buffets was ALWAYS COLD. I even talked to 2 of the chefs about it but they weren't interested. The food just wasn't the same quality as cruises past.

All of the entertainment was every good except for Flick, which seemed pointless. The problem with the theatre was it was always too cold.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. The staff in the buffet areas need to be increased. It took to long to get tables cleared off.

Well I certainly get what I pay for with carnival like .. summer holiday had great cruises with great staff and great service .. so if that's cheap bring it on....

Sorry but 20 carnival cruise and have had nothing but great times ...and amazing places ...so cheap or not it's my favourite .. 8 days till our Christmas cruise have had five Christmas cruises and they have been great ...

Carnival is pretty much the most inexpensive cruise line so you can expect what you pay for. Try Celebrity or Royal Caribbean next time.
