I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will cruise again. The experience is something I think anyone who boards will totally enjoy. From the cabins, to the main dining, specialty restaurants (to try something new) to being treated like a guest. Smiling faces all around to the fun shops, shows, to the awesome Cruise Director Chloe (who was great, I might add). No one will be disappointed. So much to do and see. All you can eat on the Lido!
Embarkation

Embarkation was good. I did get stopped because they thought I had a knife in my bag. They searched my bag and found nothing. I understand that they are trying to keep everyone safe. Better to be safe then sorry, so totally understood. Once past that process, everything went smoothly.

The main dining room is where we ate every night. The food was excellent, did not have anything that I didn't like at all. The lido buffet was awesome. One day they served mahi-mahi for lunch on the lido...it was delicious. Guys Burgers are the best, The Pizza restaurant has the best pizzas. The Taco Salads were good, but think the shells can use some work. Love to eat the shells from taco Bell, was disappointed that these shells were not good to eat.

My Husband and I bought a couple of watches! We had the most kind, excellent and knowledgeable staff member helping us. It took me an entire week to decide which watch I wanted. He was always patient and answered all my questions almost everyday until I purchased the one I chose. He is truly an asset to your cruise employee family. His name is Abhishekk Singh Dhaka.

The three Allure String Girls were magnificent. Was such a joy to sit and listen to them play. We listened to them 2 or 3 times, maybe more...lost count. We also bought one of their CD's to listen to at home. Great Musical Talent you have there.

Service in the Main Dining room was outstanding. We sat at Table 407 in the Monet. The aft restaurant. Swan and Liston and Sean were great. I truly have never had as great waiters and waitresses on any our other cruises. These three should get recognizition for the outstanding representation of Carnival Cruise Ship Customer Service...WOW is all I can say about all three of these main dining room staff. You truly have some great people who care that my dining experience is nothing but enjoyable and excellent. Anything I asked of them, they did it and quickly. They recommended things that I was unsure of but wanting to try, made sure I had plenty of water or whatever else I was drinking for the night. This is one way I rate my service, is if my glass stays full. I feel like a raise, promotion or whatever you do to recognize these three is in order. Outstanding Excellent Customer Service with very caring attitude. Always had smiles one their faces and where good dancers...lol. I even got up and danced with Sean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We love these cabins on deck 6. It was very clean and the service was good. Has just the nice amount of space that we are comfortable with and don't feel squeezed in. (some rooms we feel squeezed in, so love these rooms) Did get off to rocky start, but improved. By this I mean, we are per our red card loyalty we were supposed to have two bottles of water which we didn't get till the second day. We opted for him to clean the cabin only in the mornings, and he did and excellent job. The only other problem we had (which was not his fault) was that someone was taking our mail that was left outside the door. This was done all week, we missed letters from the Art Gallery mostly. We asked them why we were not invited to events since we had bought art and were told that we were invited to all of the events. So only conclusion is that someone was taking our letters. The cabin steward did start sliding our fun times under the door because on the first day (Sat) we did not get our fun times. There has got to be a better way of making sure we receive what is put in our box. Was very disappointing to miss out on events or show up late when you notice they are going on from other means.
Ship tip
Just take it all in, try new things, get out of your comfort zone and Have a blast!
Its ok, I like Port Canaveral better. No, did not do any excursions. Your Security guards, especially the ones directing traffic once you get in the gates, need a lesson being nice. We where parking at the port and had never been to lot 4, so did not know which way or where to go to park. Stopped to ask the Security Guard who was directing traffic, and all I have to say is...he was very rude, condescending and a egotistical smart ass. I was so disappointed in his attitude and behavior. Everyone else past him was great.
I had heard that there was no shade offered. I burn very easy and did not want to get burned and be miserable the whole rest of the cruise. Did not want a cabana away from the beach.
I liked the port and may have liked it better with a different excursion! We did a Tour and visited the Curacuo Museum, the Hato Caves and the Curacuo Liqueur Distillery. Was ok, not enough time at the Distillery. Spent to much time at the other places.
Everything was great until I got pulled out of the line. I immediately got the worst feeling like I was a criminal. The officer who was scanning our sail and sign cards, asked me to step aside and then called a nice lady over to speak to me. I was so embarrassed and felt like I had committed a crime or done something wrong. I really never was explained to about what was going on only that I needed to follow this lady. So the whole time I was wondering why I was being pulled aside and singled out. I wish she would have explained to me why I was being pulled aside. I asked what I had done wrong and she told me that I was randomly picked. Randomly picked for what? She did say I didn't do anything wrong (which made me feel a little better). If she would have just told me that they randomly pick people to check their passports and write down what they purchased, would have been so much better than keeping me in the dark, so to speak. I was taken and wrote down my purchases, handed off to another lady who them took me to a room where 3 custom agents stood and told me to take a seat, while she handed them my passport and the paper I wrote what I purchased on. I sat there for a good 10 minutes wondering what they where checking for. I'm a good upstanding working middle class citizen and just would have like to have been treated a little better through the process.
Great review! Sorry about your debarkation experience. That would have been scary. I agree about the Conquest being a great ship with an amazing cruise director! Also loved the string trio. Didn't buy a cd, but wish I would have.
