Review summary

Overall enjoyed our ports of call n the quiet time spent alone together. Would definitely cruise again just not on this particular ship. It was too old. Needed more entertainment. Also needed better food options.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was fast and easy. Had a boarding appointment. Left our extremely heavy luggage with the crew whom was loading luggage and delivering to our suites. Went through security and was in our suite in no time at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Unfortunately I was a little disappointed in the food options. Dinning room was upscale but the menu did not have many options, as for the buffet it my as well been a continental breakfast at a 3 star hotel not a lot of options there either mostly fruit. Guys burgers was just okay too so I wasn't too pleased with our food options on this ship.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
My Husband was happy there was a half court basketball court but it was always packed he did play a few games and thank God for the casino or else I would have been extremely board on the days at sea as there really wasn't a lot of activity options for myself and my husband to enjoy together not apart. Very disappointed in this particular ship.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Unfortunately we didn't attend any shows they just didn't tickle our fancy. There was a comedian. 2 outdoor movies played over the pool at night. A magician whom walked around during dinner in the monet dinning room. The ship crew danced every night during dinner in the dinning room. The ship director hosted a love and marriage game show and broadcasted it on the ship television.

Children's Programs

No children were in attendance with us on this cruise.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Room stewards were great, on the ball anything we needed we received in a hurry. They were excellent. Most staff in restraunt and dinning room were very friendly it's just guest service staff was a little rude maybe under too much stress when disembarking.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Everything was clean. Ship layout is a little weird. Took some time to figure out how to reach ground 0 for getting off the ship at the ports and coming down for dinner. Was lost most of the time but i didn't mind being lost as long as I had my husband with me I was just fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
My balcony was the best part of the cruise. I loved waking up to the sounds of the waves and seeing all the beauty not seen by all. Wish there was a bathtub and not just a shower but it did the job. The mini fridge came in extremely handy but wish it had a freezer section.

Ship tip

Definently must have a balcony facing the ocean.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

4 out of 5
We stayed here for 3 days prior to boarding the ship. Had a blast.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Loved this port. The sand here is the absolute best. Excursion was so much fun. Had a dolphin experience that was a once in a lifetime experience.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

2 out of 5
Unfortunately this was not our favorite port. Too many people on the beach no not enough excursion options here. Probably will never visit here again they didn't have really anything going on here.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
Had a blast loved our tour and beach excursion here in the Dominican republic although the beach had debre I believe it was from the hurricanes it was still breathe taking.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Easy n fast unfortunately there wasn't any food to eat on the last night before embankment n the morning of. Everything closed early the last night. Not cool.

So glad to hear this @kgreenlee1026. I board this ship on Dec. 23 and was a little worried

We just got off this same cruise and completely disagree with the statement regarding the last night. We were out till 11:30 and the buffet was open till 9:30 and we had pizza at 11:15. We saw three comedy shows the last evening, shopped and went to the casino. Plenty to do!! Breakfast this morning before we got off was just like previous mornings.
