Review summary

Great value for the price paid. Be careful of all the onboard charges, they add up fast. Overall great cruise line for a family. Don't waste money on exterior cabin, the interior was fine!

Totally worth doing Faster to the Fun! We were on the ship in less than 30 min!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

I wish you didn't have to pay for every single thing they offered on the island. I wanted a snorkel and mask and they charged $20 a day to rent one.

Nassau, Bahamas

We did not do an excursion. WE just shopped and i got a fabulous new anniversary band at a great price.

Disembarkation

Took about 1 hour but I thought that was completely acceptable. Staff was very present and courteous.

Yea we only do balconies as well. Love sitting on the balcony, relaxing while listening to the ocean. It's nice having the door propped open at night to hear it as well. Gives my husband somewhere to sit while the ladies get ready haha.

We also use hotelnpark as well. Good rates and depending on hotel, rate can include 7-10 days parking Then shuttle to ship. Super easy

you teacam, you can park at the port but we park at a hotel and take a shuttle over. www.hotelnpark.com is what we use.

It definitely is a personal preference. From about our 6th cruise on, we have done only but balconies and suites. We enjoy the water and love sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the mornings, a couple of beers in the afternoon, then wine in the evenings. That is our favorite part of cruising!

definitely a personal preference. we did interior 1st time and this time upgraded to porthole for more space. we had a friend who did balcony and never used it but they still loved all the space in their room. to each his own.

Love balcony, however able to do more cruises on our budget by going with ocean view. Out seven cruises, we have had two balcony cruises.

We only do balcony cabins. Hardly a waste of money. It's a personal preference.

It's not wasting money- it's personal preference... You are right in that they are fine, but so are ocean views and balconies, and worth the money (we enjoy all three, it depends on the cruise/destinations). Glad your family had a great time!
