Review summary

I went on this cruise with a group of couples. We had a travel agent and she booked us on the first floor so that wasn't a good place to be. Our first cruise, we wish we would have taken a shorter one. Getting on the ship we had to wait a while to get on but it wasn't too bad. Once onboard had to wait about an hour for the rooms to be ready so we ate lunch. Guys burger joint was the best. Had a toppings bar with a lot of choices to choose from. Salad bar was good on the buffet. Also the pizza place is really good and it stays open all night. The bbq place was not good. Room attendant was awesome his name is Duncan. The dining room staff we had was great we had early dining at lower monet. Table 319. The last day at sea you could really feel the boat rocking but we didn't get sick we had the patches you put behind your ear. Loved bingo and the most of the activities they had on board. The club dj was great. We had a ball at the casino and won a few dollars. They only downside is you can't breathe well in there because they allow smoking. Also getting off the ship was the worse probably took about 3 hours or more. Said problems with computers at customs. Overall it was an okay cruise. Might think about going again.

Ship tip

If you are looking to do an excursion I would wait to book at the ports because it is so much cheaper. It was lots of people doing this because we were thinking it wasn't legit at first but we had a great time.

You can experience problems with customs and immigration at the ports. They control when the ship can be unloaded. Also, if cruisers owe money to Customs, the ship can't start unloading until they have all paid Uncle Sam. Have also experienced that there weren't enough agents at a port and we had to wait.

Just an FYI... The computers at customs aren't operated by the cruise line. That's the Federal Government there.
