Review summary

The Conquest is definitely an older boat. There was rust in the pool on the bottom and sides. The service was much slower and there were noticeably less staff throughout the boat. There was a coffee ring on the counter in our guest room from our coffee cup and it was there the entire cruise. They also left dirty dishes in our room. We had to remove them. Bed was only made in the morning but not turned down at night. (all other Carnival ships I have been on did turn the sheets down at night)The first night of the cruise in the dinning room was a disorganized mess. The remaining night we at in a different area and had much better service . I have cruised several Carnival ships and never had this low of quality of service. It also took much longer than previous ships to disembark.

Room steward was definitely not what I was used to from Carnival. I don't even know who my room steward was. Sheets were not turned down at night. Dirty dishes left in room unless we removed them. Counters not wiped down.
