Review summary

The food and service quality in the main dining room is falling fast. If you want a drink you will have to go to the bar yourself everywhere but the comedy club. On the other hand, the entertainment on this ship from the band to the comedy and show lounge was fantastic. Ship needs an update.

Ship tip

The 8 day itinerary and on-board entertainment is great, if attentive service, lamb chops, baked alaska or updated ship is important to you the Conquest might not be for you.

Son just got off from honeymoon and said food was not good. They are mostly at guys burgers and they were disappointed. Also noted that the ship's service was poor in the dining room...servers seem to not care as they were told ship was going into dock soon for refurbishing so morale was down. We were on the conquest 3/16 and 6/16 and had great time other than dining room service and attitude of servers could have been better. No problem with food...are in dining room every bite. Can't wait till 3 /17 Vista here we come and recently booked 12/16 for a short one. We love to cruise

Service is great except bar service in MDR. Very few servers in there and no chance of a refill.

I was there in sept and we got served on deck in the casino also in the piano bar whilst we were sat round the piano by a server.

We were on her the first week of October. In the Renoir dining room, every night a staff member came by our table to take drink orders.

We were on the Conquest in September and found the good to be normal for Carnival. Wait staff now get your drinks at meals. No more bar service walking around. Did notice a cutback in the number of servers in the main show lounge. Counted only four servers in the whole lounge during the packed love and marriage show.

When we went in September you could get a drink in all bars even casino and piano bar by service a member if staff came around for your order even on deck and dining room or you had the option of the bar. It is an older ship but it is in good shape.. The photos of the ship r what u see is what you get. We loved it
