Review summary

ROOM STEWARD: Julio, our steward in cabin 7340 was exceptional!!!!!! His helper, Kateet, too. Julio  was always friendly, attentive and warm. This guy definitely needs to be rewarded for all his hard work! We would also see him in the halls and other cabins, and he never knew we were there, always working his rear end off and being so friendly to everyone he saw! We have been on many cruises, including several on Carnival and he is the best we have encountered!

DINNER in RENOIR DINING ROOM: We would be seated at 5:47 every night for dinner, and would never get out b4 7:03. Our waiter, "they called him Sarge" always waited until ALL his tables were filled b4 taking our orders or bringing us our food. The last night we watched and our food was brought out, set on the round table to be distributed and none of us received our food for over 18 minutes while it sat there getting cold! This was not acceptable. Again, we skipped dessert 3xs because of the time restraint as we were tired of the lack of service.

BREAKFAST in MONET DINING ROOM: We went there for brunch one morning, no real problems, then decided to go for breakfast another morning. We were seated right away, however, we sat there for over 17 minutes and was never served water nor did we see a waiter near us. They were NOT busy at all! After that we saw waiter come to table next to us, finally and served them water, but never came to our table or speak at all to us. We left the dining room and went up to Lido deck.

FUTURE CRUISE DESK: Frank at the Carnival sale table to sign up for future cruises, was the rudest person we have ever met on one of our cruises. We asked a few questions, and so did the ones next to us and he answered us all short, sarcastic and rude!

BARTENDERS: Pari and Stepahni at the Artist Lobby bar was very nice, serviceable, always a smile and took the time to recognize what you  ordered

ENTERTAINMENT: The girl in the band that played in the main lobby every night was very nice, but bless her heart, she was always off key. The others sounded great.

Shows at night were ok, but we definitely had better singers on other ships, however, they did try. Good CD, Paul Santley.

DISEMBARKATION:  Disembarkation was terrible! We had the FTTF, paid extra, was told that we would be the second people off the ship. We all stayed in the Renior dining room, like we were asked to do for over an hour  while they let ALL the passengers who were self assisted, NOT just FTTF and Platinum and Diamond off first. They never called for us so we all went and joined the line around 8am. So we got off with all the other zones not early like we were supposed too.
