Carnival Conquest

Review summary

This is a great ship if you're looking for a slumber party for your kids. The lines were so long and the ship was so disorganized that at our last port we couldn't get off because we had a 1.5 hour wait to get the shuttle to go into the main port area. Very disappointing and we will not cruise Carnival again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
We had an 8:15 seating and were lucky to get seated by 8:45. The service was so slow, due to lack of personnel, that often times we didn't finish our meal until 10:30 which was too late for our kids. I wasn't impressed with the food either.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Many of the activities that were advertised were for a fee and there wasn't a lot of variety.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I think the staff that was there did a fantastic job but there weren't enough of them. They even commented that they felt trapped in a no-win situation.

Pros: My 13 and 17 year old sons had plenty to do. It was a giant slumber party for them.

Cons: Long lines and poor service

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.
