A very average experience

Sail Date: December 24, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Overall impression of the cruise ship was it musta been designed by committee because it pretty much had everything, but it was very hard to navigate and overly spread out.

Pros: Warm, sunny weather

Cons: Expensive extras

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.

Ship Quality
Poorly designed floor layouts where it was sometimes impossible to go from the front to back of the ship without having to change floors. Poor directional signage.
Cabin / Stateroom
Shower would flood unless flow was set to a trickle.
Second-rate performers. We gave up on seeing shows due to the poor quality.
Food and Dining
Long lines. Food was so, so.
Service and Staff
Staff was overworked. Hard to communicate with staff due to english being second language for most.
Children's Programs
Our kid wasn't interested.
