Review summary

It was the best of times but not the worst of times. The ship and crew were excellent. The food was "high good" and favorable. Everyone seem to be enjoying themselves the entire trip. The not so good is on a ship this size it lacks that personal touch. The stewards are spread through the ship so you will end up having to go get your own drink at some point. This is not a big deal because it gives you the exercise you need to work off some of that food. The wait at the bar may be a little long, so have patience, and they will get to you. Waving a few bucks in your hand will help speed up the process. There is so much to see and do on this ship 7 days is still not enough.

Food and Dining

On a scale from 1 to 5, the food was a solid 3.9. It was not the taste of the food but the portion size that brought down the ratings

The fun seem to never stop. From 6am until way past midnight. There was always something to do.

Service and Staff

The best service ever. The room attendant was outstanding!!

Ship Quality

Here is where it gets a bit tricky. The layout of the ship was good. If I could change 2 things, it would be to make the casino smaller and add an IMAX theater.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was quiet with a spectacular view. Word of caution.. if you hear something rattling, check the closet. Those hangers can keep up a ruckus

Ship tip

Be prepared for the long lines at the Burrito place and Guy's burger. Keep singles to tip those hard-working crew folks. Yes, it is okay to leave a tip for the dining staff in MDR

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Love this place. The night before you get on the ship go to South Beach to the Lobster shack... you can than me later.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Okay this place is gorgeous. We was blessed with a rainbow when we docked and a cloud with a halo as we left. Although other ship passengers complain about rough seas.. our seas was smooth as glass after this

San Juan, Puerto Rico

This was the best port of the cruise. Plenty to see and do

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Fast with the new facial recognition software. Off the ship in less than 30 minutes and on the road home (14 hour drive)
