We loved this ship and the new XL class. It offers so much more than Carnivals smaller ships. The fact that she’s big and everything is spread out makes it feel not crowded.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

MDR is okay. Only ate there 3 nights. Bonsai Teppanyaki speciality restaurant was outstanding. We loved ChiBang we went twice and Cucina was really good too. Big Chicken and Guys Burger never disappoints. Buffet was okay. Great for picking, but did not have full meals at the Buffet. Gelato station is yummy. We love the many choices of food on this ship.

Service and Staff

Service was very good. Some meal service was better than others. Just depends on service team. This was only noticeable in the MDR during breakfast and sea day brunch.
Ship Quality

We love the layout of the XL ships. The fact that venues are spread out makes a ship of 6000 people feel not so crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the location. Interior was perfect for just two people. Any more, it would be uncomfortable.
Ship tip
Ship is large, expect to walk a lot. Try all the different dining options. There are many. Lots of great quiet areas to sit and relax, just need to walk around side if ship. Plenty of lounge chairs.
Thank you! For the review! I've cruised on the Mardi Gras & loved the ship! On Celebration in 18 days! Question! Digital disembarkation. Not familiar with this. Can you do ahead if time or do you need to wait to do on the ship from the App? I have an 1130AM flight out of West Palm Beach. Already planning to do self assist at 8AM, if Not earlier? Thank you, in advance for your insight! Happy Cruising 🛳 Carnival Friend !
