Review summary

I am 14 days from diamond. It was my brothers first cruise. He’s already booking another one. I had one bad experience. So beware. In a nutshell. I booked a table at the steakhouse and so did my brother. I realized that we would be at two separate tables. I called carnival and they told me to cancel the two tables snd rebook for 4. Which I did and paid in full. It was my 70 th bd dinner. At the end of the dinner. They gave us two checks. Mine was paid for but my brothers was not. I went to guest services and Emmanuel was super rude. Almost called me a liar. Why should my brother pay when I treated him for his 40 th anniversary!! Still trying to resolve this matter. So when booking for more than 2. Call direct and book.

Didn’t do an excursion but it’s an easy walk into San Juan old town. Went to barranchina restaurant. To have a pina colada. Home of the drink.

Went shopping and took a taki to emerald beach. The shuttle prices have gone up $7 one way per person. Tried to get a taxi for 4. But the government now regulates the price, as we were told by many. And the don’t have Uber. Last trip, we walked into town. It’s a long walk. But doable.

Make sure you link your booking so that way you can book both and just pay one time for your specialty dining.
