Review summary

I was not impressed with this ship, I was expecting more since it was a new ship. The food in the buffet for any meal was limited, so it forced you to stand in long lines at the chicken spot or the burger spot. The entertainment was limited. The roller coaster got stuck with people on it twice. The stairs were broken around the outside decks.

We were on same cruise and we thought food was not up to standard for a Carnival cruise. Guys burgers and Shags chicken were really good compared to the main dining room. The only bright spot for dinner was the Hibachi. The food was fantastic. Our chef there not only put on a great show but he also made the food orders to perfection.

While I haven't sailed on this ship yet, we are booked and sailing in a few weeks. I find many mixed reviews about this ship. Some love it some do not. I think two things truly set the tone of your trip. The cabin you choose and where it located. The time you had on your last cruise or expectations. As far as things braking, 6k per sailing w crew, things are going to get used and abused. I'm sure maintenance has a long never ending list of repairs, as most ships do. I am looking forward to my own experiences on this ship. Thanks for your review.

It's interesting to see such polar opposite reviews from folks sailing on the same ship! Guess I'll have to find out for myself. As long as I'm cruising, how bad can it be?

Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I'm on this Saturday. I'll be sure to report back.

There were plenty of complimentary restaurants to eat at besides the buffet, guys burgers and big chicken.

We were on Celebration in April and it was beautiful and in tip top shape. Food venues were aplenty, the buffet was a bit smaller, however, there was plenty of food and they have added so many more venues that it just wasn’t necessary. The layout is different but it spread people out much more and never felt crowded. The rooms are a bit smaller but plenty of room, I mean you sleep in the room how much do you need. I enjoy every cruise I’m on, I don’t have to cook, clean and I get entertainment every night, we saw shows everywhere on this ship. I liked that they had two comedy venues. I also liked that they had shows on the main stage and in the theater. Food in the MDR was great and so was the staff, we knew them by name before the cruise was over. They all work so hard to make your cruise comfortable and fun.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience. I will be cruising on the Celebration very soon. I have read a number of comments on smaller cabin sizes, what some may consider a wonky layout and a smaller amount of food available in the buffet compared to other ships/sailings. I'm wondering if this may be because more dining locations are included on this ship class and they made cut backs to compensate or drive people to those locations 🤔🚢

Sorry you were disappointed.

Appreciate your feedback. I’ve heard that this new class of ship has smaller cabins, ver disappointing. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
